Eight players were invited to compete in the ‘QubicaAMF Bowling Promotion Cup’ event at the Chateaubriant bowling center and in Monaco, two Dutch, two Russians, two French, one English and one Swedish, the final stages of which were organized by the Bowling Promotion Association. Eurosport was present and a series of reports will be broadcast on Eurosport International 2 in December. 

The singles was won by England’s Matt Miller, 259/257, against Sweden’s Dennis Eklund, a match as high in terms of score than that of suspense. The Doubles were won by Phil Hulst (Holland) paired with Bruno Bidone (France/Monaco). They beat in two games 385/336 Matt Miller and Tony Regnier (France). 

The Team event was played at the Bowling Ni-Box of Monaco, three games played "Baker System". The Red Team consisted of Miller (Eng), Eklund (Swe), Regnier (Fra), Zandwijk (Ned) and Blue Team with Minenko (Rus), Hulst (Ned), Bidone (Mc) and Krasavkin (Rus). The Red Team took victory, 647/626. The individual final was won by Dennis Eklund, he beat Matt Miller, 212/205.

EUROSPORT TO COVER 2011-2012-2013 BOWLING PROMOTION CUP TOUR

Bruno Bidone of Bowling Promotion has signed an agreement “3 years deal” with Eurosport for them to produce 4 X 52 minute TV programmes of the BOWLING PROMOTION CUP (Single, Doubles,Team and Masters, Bowling center of Châteaubriant FRANCE and Ni Box Monte Carlo MONACO, October 23-27, 2011). This year, the invitational event involve the following nations: England, Russia, The Netherlands, France, Monaco, Sweden.

OUR CONCEPT: Each bowler on TV (limited to 8 bowlers).

Defending champion: Single Phil Hulst (NED) Double Sergey Andreev (RUS) Bruno Bidone (MC)

This event promouve the sport of bowling and bowling industry.
